Singer Sunidhi Chauhan Wants To Try Her Hands At Acting In Bollywood

Sunidhi Chauhan’s victorious singing journey may appear to be a seamless series of achievements and appreciations, but the fact is, she has battled with both known and unknown demons to reach to the level she is on today. She began to sing at the age of 4 and started playback signing in Hindi movies at the age of 13. Known for her high pitch renditions, she has received praise from many veteran artists and singers. Rumours are rife that the singer has added another goal in her life. She wants to try her luck in Bollywood now.

Sunidhi was fascinated by acting since childhood, but she was hesitant to take on the role of an actor earlier. But now, she thinks it is the best time to step into Bollywood. “Earlier I wasn’t ready to act but now I have reached a stage where I know this is the right time. I was inclined to acting since childhood. Now I want to do a lot of Bollywood films”, said the singer.

The 32-year-old playback singer has recently made her acting debut with the short film, Playing Priya. Sunidhi has also revealed that she was offered a film when she was just 19. She said “When I was 19-year-old, I had an offer to act. But I turned it down because I wasn’t ready for it. I wanted to focus on playback singing only. Now I know for sure I can give equal attention to both, singing and acting”. Well, it will be interesting to watch Sunidhi as an actress. Desimartini wishes that all her dreams come true.
