So Shahid finally has the ‘Black Lady’

The biggest possible aspiration for an Indian actor after national awards has to be the black lady of Filmfare. While most actors have worked hard to earn the trophy at least once in their lifetime, Haider aka Shahid Kapoor has finally bagged his first. The 60^th filmfare awards brought him the ultimate glory he could have possibly wished for.

With all considerations, Haider has been an asset in Shahid’s life and the dues are finally being paid off in respect of the several best actor trophies he’s bagged already. The last time he stood a chance of getting closer to it was in 2009 for his performance in Kaminey, but of course we had Mr. Bachchan as Paa then.

From Shikhar to Jab We Met to Kaminey, Shahid Kapoor had never let any doubts emerge in the minds of audiences about his acting ability, but with Haider, the cute little chocolaty face turning into a vengeance seeking dilemmatic proved that he deserved the best actor award with all honesty. Let’s not go in too much of analysis and congratulate him to have won what probably has been his biggest achievement to date.
