Sonali Bendre Behl Is Planning To Translate Her Book In Hindi and Marathi

Actors turning writers isn’t a new phenomenon in the Bollywood industry. Twinkle Khanna, Ayushmann

Khurrana and Naseeruddin Shah have published their writing in the recent past. The latest to jump on the bandwagon is Sonali Bendre Behl, who launched her book on parenting last month. Following its success, the publishers are now planning to translate the book into Hindi and Marathi.

A source close to Sonali says, “Given the readers’ response, the actor and the publishing team have decided to translate the book, to cater to a larger audience base who may not be comfortable with English. The translation process will start next month.”

We have been informed that Sonali will not personally translate the book. However, the actor will supervise the process closely. She will be in touch with the translators to make necessary changes.

When contacted, Sonali confirmed the story, and said, “I think it is a good idea to have this book in other languages, because the subject is meant for a large audience. I am going to sit in on the translations personally because I am fluent in both the languages (Hindi and Marathi).”
