Sonam Kapoor Not Starring Opposite Shah Rukh Khan In Anand L. Rai’s Next?

Not much ago, B-Town was abuzz with the rumours that filmmaker Anand L. Rai is considering either Alia Bhatt or Sonam Kapoor for his next two-heroine project. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns director has already signed Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif for the flick. Recently, the Khoobsurat actress revealed that so far she hasn’t been approached for the movie.

“I would love to work with him and Shah Rukh. Apparently, everyone is talking about this film, but Aanand sir has never spoken to me about it”, disclosed Sonam during an interaction with a leading daily, “I’m sure he always considers me (for his movies), as he and I share a close relationship. He treats me like his own daughter”.

The stylish diva also talked about her fondness for working with the director. She stated, “I love working with him, and want to be part of every film he makes. If it is a good role, and if he feels I fit the part, I am sure he will offer it to me because he cares about me. I am never going to say no to him”.

Sonam hasn’t signed any new films since the release of the blockbuster movie Neerja. “I don’t exactly know what I want to take up next. I haven’t come across anything incredible and inspiring that will push me to do better. I have to be inspired either by the script or by the people I work with”, added the Raanjhanaa actress.
