Spider-Man Homecoming trailer: Twitter can't contain its love for Robert Downey...
Updated : March 30, 2017 11:28 AM ISTThe new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer dropped Tuesday, and fans took to Twitter to dissect and over-analyse the footage.
What stood out the most was just how much of the plot the 2-and-a-half minute trailer crammed in. Tony Stark’s mentor-like relationship with Peter Parker and the villain Vulture’s anger at not just Spidey, but Iron Man, were the highlights.
Since the movie is still a few months away (100 days to go to be precise), the effects will probably take a while before they’re ready, but we did get glimpses of the big set pieces. One in particular, set on a ferry, seems to be the money shot (and a homage to the first Spider-Man movie which starred Tobey Maguire). Then, there was also the action scene which involved a crashing plane (which could possibly be a part of the film’s third act).
Fans took to Twitter to discuss what they thought of the trailer. We’ve selected a few reactions for you:
