The film Mohalla Assi is based on Kashinath Singh’s novel ‘Kashi Ka Assi’. The film is a satire based on the fake gurus who lure the foreign tourists in the nation. The film also features Ravi Kishen and Sakshi Tanwar in prominent roles. Sunny Deol is playing a Sanskrit teacher and an orthodox pundit in the film while Sakshi Tanwar is playing his wife. The film is scheduled to release in October.
