Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar's Next Film Will Feature Manoj Bajpayee

The latest buzz is that Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer , which has been tentatively titled Chambal, is all set to have Manoj Bajpayee onboard. It has been heard that Manoj will play a dacoit in the flick. Moreover, the film is going to be directed by Abhishek Chaubey.

The Gangs of Wassypur actor revealed, “Yes, that's true though we are yet to zero in on a name for my character. I always wanted to work with Abhishek as I'm a huge admirer of his work. I have seen all his films, from Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya to Udta Punjab . He picks his stories from rural or semi-urban areas and weaves them beautifully. When I got a chance to be a part of his story-telling, I couldn't turn it down. For me this film is not so much about the role as it is about working with Abhishek Chaubey”.

 Abhishek Chaubey had earlier helmed the 2016 drug-drama, Udta Punjab, which has received critical acclamation. Further, according to the demand of the film, the actor will also start learning Bundelkhandi dialect. The shooting for his part of the film will commence in February next year.
