There Is Lot To Come: Madhuri Dixit Nene

During her prime, Madhuri Dixit Nene was the bench mark for other actresses. She did movies of all kinds and has CV with experience of over three decades, however, Janaki from Lajja is in no mood to retire. Madhuri was asked on a possible biopic on her glitzy career and she responded by saying, “I would say picture abhi baaki hai. There are so many things I want to do. There is still time for that”.

As many Bollywood actresses are finding their space in Hollywood movies as well, the star is not bothered even a bit on missing out during her years. “It’s wonderful to see our girls going there and doing such a wonderful job like Priyanka, Deepika or Aishwarya (Rai Bachchan). But there are no regrets. People are curious about our culture. I wish they continue to include this in films”, she added.

When asked about her favorite pick, Madhuri said that current crop of actresses are all good, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika, Priyanka and Kareena; they are all doing great work. She added that there is no tips to offer as all of these girls are smart and wonderful to see that they are always prepared. Madhuri appeared in her last film ‘Gulaab Gang’ in 2014.
