It Would Be Great To Work With Him: Rajkummar Rao On Collaborating With David Dhawan

  Rajkummar Rao is undoubtedly a very talented actor. Whether it was ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Trapped’, ‘CityLights’, ‘ Newton ’, the actor has never failed to impress audience with his acting skills. And now the actor has found an admirer in David Dhawan.

The filmmaker was in awe of the actor after watching his performance in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. He loved him in the movie so much that he expressed his desire of working with him. Recently, Varun Dhawan said that his father was blown away after watching Rao in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. When Rajkummar got to know about it, he called it ‘fun’ to work with David.

"I am a big fan of David Dhawan's films. I grew up watching his amazing comedies. It would be great to work with him. He had called me after 'Bareilly...' and we spoke at length. He is a senior from FTII so we had that connection as well,” said the Behen Hogi Teri actor in an interview.

He added, "He told me 'hum saath may kaam karege tu toh phaad dega!' (If we work together you will rock it). He really liked my comic timing in the film. It would be great whenever we collaborate together, it'll be a different experience. I'll try and bring something different to the table, combined with his sensibility, it'll be just fun!"

The 33-year-old also praised Varun Dhawan whom he said maintains a good balance by acting in both commercial entertainers and content driven cinema. Rao will next be seen in 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana' opposite Kriti Kharbanda which will release on November 10.
