TV Show Gangaa Is Getting A TV Film

The popular TV show ‘Gangaa’ has been made into a 2 hour TV film titled ‘Gangaa - Chota Parda Badi Movie’. The show focuses on issues like child marriage, widowhood and other customs. It stars Aditi Sharma as Gangaa Shukla.

Talking about the show, Aditi shared, “Gangaa is close to my heart. It showcases the story of a child widow who is a strong girl and fights the society and challenges the logic behind such social norms and practices. I am really excited that the channel has decided to make a short film on it”.

The TV film will be aired on Saturday. It will follow Gangaa as she goes against social norms and stands up for herself. The first episode in the TV series aired on March 2 last year. The show is written by Rajita Sharma, Rajesh Joshi and Manish Paliwal. As of June 24 this year, the show has had 348 episodes.
