Varun Dhawan Enters The 'Top 10' List For Highest Paid In Bollywood

Actor Varun Dhawan , who started his career with the Karan Johar ’s film Student of the Year opposite Alia Bhatt , has recently raised his remuneration. It seems his film Judwaa 2 has helped him make a hike in his salary making him the seventh highest paid male in Bollywood. Latest reports reveal that the actor will be charging Rs 25 crores from now on.

By the second weekend, Judwaa 2 is expected to cross over Rs 100 crores at the box office. Actors Shah Rukh Khan , Aamir Khan , Salman Khan , Hrithik Roshan , Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are the other Bollywood male stars, who charge big amount for a film. Trade analyst Atul Mohan said, “Varun does not do things beyond what his abilities are and at the same time is immensely likeable”.

Moreover, adding to that he said that Varun’s choice of films has contributed a lot to his growth. The only off-beat film Varun went for in his career was Badlapur and even that film had pulled in money. He further added that Varun’s earlier two films with Karan Johar have also helped Varun and he is trying to maintain that image for his films.
