Varun Dhawan Prefers Not To Reveal Much About ‘Shuddhi’

Karan Johar’s upcoming project ‘Shuddhi’ has been in the spotlight for quite some time now. Many actors like Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Salman Khan were linked to the film. But at last, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were finalized for the lead pair.

During an interaction with media after wrapping up ‘Dishoom’, the Badlapur actor was asked about the ‘Shuddhi’, which will be helmed by Karan Malhotra. He preferred not to reveal much about the flick and said, “Honestly, for me, every film is important, even if I have only a day’s work for the film. Every film is very close to me. As far as ‘Shuddhi’ is concerned I think Karan Johar ji has given the answers to you. I’m doing another film with Dharma, and the announcement will be made soon”.

Speculations are rife that the next film of the Dilwale actor under Dharma productions will be the sequel of 2014 hit romantic comedy ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. The lead pair of the film will return in the second instalment titled as ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. Hopefully, we will soon get to hear about both the projects.
