Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 To Clash With This Superstar's Film!

David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 is one of the most awaited films for the year. The time to time information regarding the shooting of the movie has added more to people’s curiosity. The movie which stars Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapse Pannu in the lead is a remake of 1997 film Judwaa starring Salman Khan, Rambha and Karishma Kapoor.

Judwaa 2 will see Varun reprising Salman Khan’s role, while Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapse Pannu will play his love interest. The movie is slated to release on September 29, 2017. However, September 29 will not only see the release of Judwaa 2.

David Dhawan has to fight with AR Murugadoss’ SpYder at the box office. The spy thriller which stars Mahesh Babu, Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Suryah will release in Tamil, Telugu as well as in Hindi. The way southern films Baahubali and Baahibalu 2 have managed to break all box office records, many South superstars are vying for Hindi release for their movies. The way both the parts of Baahubali have surpassed records of even Bollywood films and considering that AR Murugadoss was the first filmmaker to give Bollywood its first 100-crore film (Ghajini), it is difficult to say which out of the two wins the rat race.

However, Trade analyst and Complete Cinema Editor, Atul Mohan, has something else to say. According to him there are greater chances for Judwaa 2 to shatter box office records since Mahesh Babu is not as popular as Prabhas. He stated that Varun Dhawan is a Pan-India actor with mass appeal. And with Salman making a cameo in the film, it has generated more curiosity among the audience.
