Veteran actress Zohra Sehgal celebrates her 100th birthday

New Delhi -- Legendary actress Zohra Sehgal will celebrate her hundredth birthday today after entertaining audiences for the past seventy years. She was born in Saharanpur district along with her seven siblings and began her career with danseuse Uday Shankar in 1935. Later got married to scientist, painter and dancer Kameshwar Sehgal in 1942 and is blessed with kids Kiran and Pavan. Her active participation with Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) and Prithvi Theatre for fourteen years is also commendable. She has also choreographed for Bollywood movies like Baazi and a dream sequence song in Awaara. Sehgal was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansalis Sawariyaa in 2007.
