Vidhu Vinod Chopra hates producing films

Mumbai Director-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has confessed that he doesnt like producing films. The 55-year-old, who has super hits like 3 Idiots and Munnabhai MBBS to his credit, says he produces film to ensure commercial pressure doesnt come in the way of a good concept. While talking to reporters at the Vidhu Vinod Chopra Film Festival, he said: I hate producing films. If I dont produce films like '...M.B.B.S.' and others, the idea that directors wanted to communicate must have lost in the commercial pressure. I am only helping them realising their dream. I am not producing it. The festival, organised in association with PVR Cinemas, began here March 29 and ended Wednesday.
