Vidya Balan: I'm not mentally ready for motherhood

B-town actress Vidya Balan is missing from award functions from quite some time and neither is she signing any film after her pregnancy talks went viral. However, Vidya condemns the authenticity of any such news and says that she is not ready to be a mother anytime soon, “I'm fed up of these rumours. These days people look at my stomach when they talk to me. Why are actors and actresses treated differently in this industry? Inshallah, I will have a baby-but not so soon. I'm not mentally ready for motherhood yet. It's a daunting task to be responsible for another human being.”

More comments from Vidya came about the failure of Ghanchakkar and Shaadi Ke Side Effects, “There is no formula for success in movies.” Vidya’s committed projects include Bobby Jasoos and Hamari Adhuri Kahani. The previous one, an Indian pacy dramedy by filmmaker Samar Shaikh, is in post-production stage and the latter is by Mohit Suri. Hamari Adhuri Kahani will also feature Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao in essential characters.
