Vikramaditya Motwane confirms Harshvardhan Kapoor in ‘Bhavesh Joshi’

Celebrated director-producer Vikramaditya Motwane has confirmed his lead actor for the upcoming flick Bhavesh Joshi. The earlier name touted for the role was of Sidharth Malhotra, but the team has now gone with Harshvardhan Kapoor. The budding actor is youngest son of actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor.

The filmmaker told a leading daily, “Yes, we are making Bhavesh Joshi with Harshvardhan Kapoor and the film will be going on floors from next month”. This is coming in the backdrop of the news that the project was shelved due to the change in circumstances. Interestingly, the team had earlier settled down on Imran Khan for the title character.

Bhavesh Joshi is about a guy that possesses supernatural power and tries to help common folks. It is believed that the flick will be produced under the banner of Phantom Films. Actor Harshvardhan is currently shooting for his debut flick Mirzya, which is being directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
