“Vishal Bharadwaj’s plight for Kashmiri Pandits is ‘fraudish’”, says Anupam Kher
Updated : April 06, 2016 10:59 AM IST Just a day after Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider received 5 national awards, he saw a rather rough round of bashing from veteran actor Anupam Kher. Vishal in a press conference yesterday dedicated all his winnings to Kashmiri Pandits to which Kher responded very strongly.

The actor who himself is a Kashmiri Pandit said that Vishal’s dedicating act of his awards to Kashmiri Pandits is fraudish. He said that the film had in fact insulted them projecting the lord as devil.
While I congratulate Vishal Bhardwaj for National Awards but dedicating them to #KashmiriPandits genocide is such a fraudish thing to do.

When was last time Vishal Bhardwaj spoke about d plight of #KashmiriPandits? He in fact humiliated us by doing dance of devil at our temple.

The so called 'Hindu' centric Govt. gave Haider 5 National Awards which many felt was anti-Hindu & anti Indian Army. This is NOT Talibanism.

Haider when released sparked a lot of controversy with its content attributing to be anti Hindu and anti army. While the flak had mostly resulted in the film being a box office success, let’s see how Vishal takes this bashing from Anupam Kher.
