We now have a chance to watch Andaz Apna Apna in theatres

We might well proclaim to be the most dedicated fans of this cult comedy, but let’s admit, nobody went out to watch Andaz Apna Apna in theatres when it released. But the makers have now given its fans an opportunity to amend the wrong doing. The film is now going to have a re-release this year.

The Aamir-Salman starrer comedy completes two decades in 2014 and on this pride occasion producer Vinay Kumar Sinha has decided to release the film again. All the cast and crew members are expected to come together for the event that launches the release of the film. Originally when the film released in 1994, it couldn’t create the hysteria it was expected to make but in the due process of these long two decades, the film acquired a cult status in Indian Cinema. The film starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tondon, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor in prime roles. It was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

Meanwhile there are talks of re-creating the same magic with the sequel of this classic where the two superstars may come together. Rajkumar Santoshi has brought out his desire to helm the project if Aamir and Salman agree to produce the film.
