Whatever You Try, Someone Or The Other Will Be Offended: Kirti Kulhari On Indu Sarkar Facing The Wrath Of Politicians

Kirti Kulhari started her career in 2010 with her maiden Bollwyood flick Khichdi: The Movie. However, her acting got recognized after her portrayal as Falak Ali in Pink, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The actress is now all set for playing the female lead in Indu Sarkar that also stars eil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher in lead roles.

The film is based on a 21-month long Emergency period from 1975 to 1977. The then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had declared a state of shutdown across the country. Congress politicians are not happy with the filmmakers and they want the movie to be screened first before it goes to the censor board.

Talking about it, Kirti said, "It is very tough. There are so many people, organisations, parities, religions. Whatever you try, someone or the other will be offended. It's really unfortunate, it shouldn't happen". The film is slated for a release on July 28.
