‘Why Should We Let You Go Off So Easily When Mahira Khan Faced Problems In India’

Actress Ssara Khan rose to fame with her portrayal of a simple girl in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai. She then ventured into films with M3 - Midsummer Midnight Mumbai before appearing on a couple of television shows as a cameo. Showing her acting prowess, the actress made her way into the Pakistani television sets. The Pakistani show Beykhudi topped the Pakistani charts. She signed another daily soap, Lekin. However, she grabbed headlines when she was jailed in Pakistan for traveling without visa.

The actress has now opened up about the whole story. She said, “When I was at the counter at the immigration counter in Pakistan, an officer said, 'You are Ssara Khan, Indian actress right. When Mahira Khan was not let go off easily at India and was deported from the Indian airport at Delhi, so why should we let you go off so easily.' That was the only incident that happened at the immigration counter else nowhere did I face any kind of comparison or was held against the happening with Mahira Khan in India”.

However, she also advised that people who think ill about both the countries should first understand it and then comment on anything because both the countries are beautiful and it is unfair to be biased. Seems like, the actress is totally smitten by Pakistan’s culture. Well, we all wish everything’s all right between the two neighboring countries.
