Will Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bharadwaj re-unite for Kaminey 2 post Haider?

The promo of the upcoming Vishal Bharadwaj flick ‘Haider’ staring Shahid Kapoor has been simply off the hook. The trademark Bharadwaj style could be seen all over it and the audiences are keen to watch the movie as soon as it hits the screens. What excites them more is that the Shahid-Vishal duo may also collaborate for the sequel to the 2009 hit ‘Kaminey’.

Yes, the lead actor Shahid Kapoor who played the role of his life in Kaminey while promoting Haider in London expressed his desire to star in Kaminey 2 with Vishal Bharadwaj directing it. The actor tweeted in his ‘Kaminey’ style, “promoting #haider in #londontown with vifhal fir trying to convinfe him to make kaminey 2”. Shahid in a chat also revealed how grateful he is to Vishal for giving him Kaminey and then Haider where he could portray the famous Shakespearean character Hamlet. “Vishal sir gave me so far the best role of my life in ‘Kaminey’. It is amazing to work with him again. It is a rare opportunity and very few actors get to play Hamlet,” he said.

The chocolaty actor also revealed his attachment with the director and said even Vishal considers him to be lucky for him. “When he (Vishal) wrote the script of Haider, he called me and said ‘You are very lucky. Whenever I cast you in any film, your role is written really well.’ I guess, he is really lucky for me,” said Shahid pretty candidly. Haider which is all set to release on Gandhi Jayanti also stars Tabu, Kay Kay Menon, Shraddha Kapoor and Irrfan Khan.
