Wouldn’t Do Lunchbox Again: Nimrat Kaur

Critically acclaimed actress Nimrat Kaur, will next be seen in a forthcoming web series, The Test Case. She was highly appreciated for her role in The Lunchbox, and didn’t mind continuing experimenting with her roles. Now, this Ekta Kapoor project will see her donning the uniform of an Army officer for the first time.

"I always want to try new things in life. Yes, this (Internet) is a new avenue, but never in my life have I believed in pre-set notions. I really don't think there is need for any actor to be calculative about these kinds of things. You connect with something and you just do it", said Nimrat.

Interestingly, Nimrat has done two international projects Homeland and Wayward Pines. But, her character as a housewife has stuck to people’s mind. She further added, "I want to undo this immediately by presenting myself in different ways, which is actually the real fun of being an actor”. Nimrat doesn’t want to repeat film like Lunchbox and would try other challenging characters.
