Yash Raj Films announced its next youth film, Mere Dad Ki Maruti

Mumbai -- Keeping their promise to make films with talented new comers, Yash Raj Films has started the shooting of their next youth wing film Mere Dad Ki Maruti (MDKM) after the release of Ishaqzaade. While Habib Faisal - directed Ishaqzaade gave a chance to Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, MDKM will present actor Saqib Saleem, who debuted last year with Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge. The film will also be directed by a young talent, Ashima Chibber, who is first time making a movie on her own and till now she has only assisted big directors like Shimit Amin and Imtiaz Ali in their films. Mere Dad Ki Maruti, which is the third production from Yash Raj Films' youth wing Y-Films, revolves around a boy, who steals his father's fancy new car to impress his girlfriend and what happens thereafter. Sachin Gupta is composing music for the film.
