Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani makers land in fresh trouble?

The esteemed manufacturer of squash Rooh Afza, Hamdard National Foundation, has posed problems for the makers of the recent blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

The company has filed a lawsuit against the film and following that Delhi High Court has passed a restrain order on the TV release of the movie. Thanks to some of its offensive dialogues. As per Justice Manmohan Singh, the curbs in the order passed on Monday, would not be applicable to the theatre version of the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer.

The movie hit the cinemas last week and since then it has been the frontrunner at the box-office. Notices have also been issued to the director, producer and dialogue-writers of the movie and the matter will be heard on July 16. As per the claims made by the Rooh Afza-manufacturer, their product is quite popular all over India and abroad and the film contains certain “objectionable” dialogues about the product’s Unani recipe.
