Zaheer Khan Enagaged To His Lady Love Actress Sagarika Ghatge

Now there is one more cricketer who is all ready to join his colleagues Harbajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh. After Virat and Anushka made their relationship public, the latest to join the list of actor-cricketer couple is Indian pacer Zaheer Khan. The cricket announced his engagement to his long time girlfriend actress Sagarika Ghatge through his Twitter post on Monday.

“Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for life. #engaged @sagarikavghatge,” wrote Zaheer. Sagarika shared an adorable picture of her with Zaheer and wrote, “Partners for life !!! #engaged @ImZaheer.”

Rumours were doing the rounds that the couple were in a relationship for a very long time, however, they never declared in public. Rumours of both dating each other became more evident when the couple were seen hand-in-hand attending Yuvraj Singh’s wedding with actor Hazel Keech. However, it seems that the lovey-dovey could not hide their relationship for long. In February Sagarika finally opened up about her relationship. She said, “Let’s just say I am in a very happy space right now… I will remain just the way I am: low profile as ever. I have no shame in admitting that I draw into my shell easily and come out only when I have to speak. I have big respect for Zaheer’s game.”

Zaheer Khan is currently the captain of Delhi Daredevils in the ongoing IPL season. Sagarika on the other hand made her debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s Chak De India after which she did small roles in films like Fox and Miley Naa Miley Hum. She was also seen in a lead role in Rush opposite Emraan Hashmi.
