A Loving Relationship Strengthens Everything: Nicole Kidman

Known from her roles in films like ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ and ‘Moulin Rouge!’, actress Nicole Kidman has shown the audiences her confidence and great ability to act. While most of her fans consider her a symbol of strength and pride, Nicole wasn’t always the comfortable and confident woman she is today. Recently, the 50-year-old spoke about her younger days and said that she had a lot of self-esteem problems.

“I didn't (feel comfortable) as a kid or a teenager. Not even in my early 20s. Your confidence grows as you get older, particularly when you're in a loving relationship. Everything strengthens”, Nicole shared. The actress feels that it is important to build ones self-esteem because it is the root of a lot of insecurity and desire to please.

Nicole also stated that her husband Keith Urban has been a huge part of her journey of building a strong self-esteem. She is mother to four children, two of whom are from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise. On the work front, the actress will next be seen in ‘The Beguiled’ which will be released on June 30. She has a few projects in the pipeline which include ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’, ‘How to Talk to Girls at Parties’, ‘Aquaman’ and a few others.
