Aaron Paul may lead in Star Wars spinoff
Updated : April 06, 2016 10:58 AM ISTBreaking Bad's Aaron Paul is rumored to be in one of the top spots for the male lead in Star Wars spinoff. Gareth Edwards is directing from a script by Gary Whitta, which is currently being rewritten by Chris Weitz. Disney has already set a December 16, 2016 release date for the spinoff.
The spinoff movie is expected to follow the story of a young Han Solo, although no one close to the film has confirmed or denied that rumor. According to other rumors, the film could also be about a special team of bounty hunters, like Boba Fett. Some websites have speculated that Breaking Bad’s Jesse could play a young Han Solo. After his five-season run on Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul starred in four features last year, Need for Speed, Hellion, A Long Way Down and Exodus: Gods and Kings. He will next be seen in Triple Nine, Eye in the Sky and The 9th Life of Louis Drax.
