Aaron Paul to star in The Parts You Lose

Aaron Paul is set to star in The Parts You Lose, reported by TheWrap. The drama film will be helmed by Oscar nominated director Paula van der Oest. The official announcement was made by Myriad Pictures on Friday. The script for the film has been written by Darren Lemke.

“This extraordinarily original script really caught our attention. We are so pleased to be working with such a strong production team headed by Mark Johnson and Tom Williams, and with director Paula van der Oest who will bring her unique vision to this film,” said D’Amico (CEO of Myriad Pictures). The movie will reunite Aaron Paul with Breaking Bad producer Mark Johnson, who will produce the film along with Tom Williams under their banner of Gran Via Productions.

The movie focuses an 8-year-old hearing impaired boy named Wesley. The boy comes face to face with a wounded and dangerous fugitive in his hometown of Dakota. The two form an unlikely bond and Wesley finds an unexpected refuge from the troubles of his home and school life. The film will be a German-Canadian co-production and will begin filming in Manitoba, Canada at the end of the year.
