The gorgeous lady, Angelina Jolie, had lately occupied the headlines because of her divorce from Brad Pitt. Brad was her third husband and the couple parted in September 2016. As per the recent updates, the 41-year-old actress is being considered to star in the adaptation of 'Shoot Like a Girl'.

This film is based on the memoir of US Air Force Major Mary Jennings Hegar. Deadline reported that she is eyed to take the role of real life Afghanistan war hero Hegar in this film. The Gotham Group is producing the project. Frank Baldwin wrote the most current draft of the script, and the producers are currently in the hunt for a director.

Jolie was most recently seen in ‘By the Sea’. She directed this venture as well. Moreover, the screenplay of this impending project is likely to be based on the memoir titled 'Shoot Like A Girl: How One Woman's War Against the Taliban Led to Her Victory Over the Department of Defense'. The film follows Hegar who served multiple tours in Afghanistan as a rescue helicopter pilot.
