Ashton Kutcher becomes highest paid Television actor

Defeating the likes of Ray Romano and Hugh Laurie,Two-and-a-Half Menstar Ashton Kutcher topped the Forbes' list of this year’s Television Top Earners.

However, in comparison with last year’s winner Charlie Sheen, who had earned a whopping amount of $40m, Kutcher’s total earned money is only $26m.Housestar Hugh Laurie and Ray Romano of a now cancelledMen of a Certain Ageseries were the runners up by earning $18m. Unfortunately formerTwo-and-a-Half Menactor Sheen, who is now starring inAnger Managementafter being fired from the hit CBS show, didn't even make to the top 10.

Other highly paid TV actors who made to the top 10 list are Emmy winner Alec Baldwin of30 Rock,Last Man Standingstar Tim Allen,Menco-star Jon Cryer andThe Big Bang Theory'sJim Parsons and Johnny Galecki. Except Laurie, all other stars who scored big-time in this list were sitcom actors.

However, for women in the equivalent category, financial success seems to not be quite so easy as Sophia Vergara fromModern Familybecame this year's female top earner by earning just $19m.Desperate Housewivesstars Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria also appeared in the top ten.
