Bad Boys 3 Postponed Again, Receives New Title

The sequel to the hit Martin Lawrence and Will Smith starrer, ‘Bad Boys’, has been postponed once again. Initially, the movie was supposed to hit the screens on February 17, 2017 which then shifted to June 2, 2017. Now, the movie has once again been postponed to January 12, 2018. It has also been titled ‘Bad Boys for Life’, paying homage to the Bad Boys motto.

Joe Carnahan will direct the project which will probably bring back Smith and Lawrence. Sony wanted to speed up the shooting but Will Smith got engaged in ‘Collateral Beauty’ after the recently released ‘Suicide Squad’. On its release, Bad Boys for Life will go against ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ and ‘Sherlock Gnome’ for the box office cake.

The original film that brought the dynamic duo together was released back in 1995. The movie was directed by Michael Bay and pooled in $65 million. The sequel, which came out in 2003, was quite a success and brought in $273 million worldwide.
