BAFTA to honour Sacha Baron Cohen with Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award

The buzz is that the actor-writer-producer, Sacha Baron Cohen will be honoured with the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy at the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards 2013. The award function will take place on November 9 and Cohen will be awarded for his outstanding contribution to the comedy films.

Cohen has earlier won two BAFTAs; both of them were for Da Ali G Show, which he starred in and co-wrote as well. Cohen has delivered hits like Borat, Bruno and The Dictator. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Borat. It is good to see that the multi-skilled star is getting awarded for his brilliant work throughout his career.
