Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Will Bring Back Zod

The 2013 film Man of Steel had Michael Shannon play the role of General Zod. He was defeated by Superman in an epic battle that left several casualties and destroyed multiple buildings. In the upcoming flick Batman V Superman, General Zod will be returning, but as a corpse.

Michael revealed in an interview with Vilture that he does not have hands in the movie, instead it’s something weird that caused him some trouble. He said, “I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands. So I had these wax flippers on my fingers, and I couldn’t open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder, the director] being like, ‘Where’s Shannon? Where the f**k is he?’ and the whole crew was standing around. I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, ‘Let me out of here!”

Directed by Zack Snyder, Dawn of Justice will hit the theatres on March 25 next year. Along with Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill playing Superman, the cast will include Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter.  The screenplay for the film has been written by David S. Goyer.
