Being A Fan Of The Franchise, Colin Farrell Hasn’t Read A Single Harry Potter Book

Harry Potter fans are in for a treat this November as the spin-off titled ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ is on its way to the big screen. The movie stars Eddie Redmayne as the lead character and Colin Farrell in a pivotal role. Recently, Colin revealed that though he is a fan of the Harry Potter universe, he hasn’t read a single book.

According to Contactmusic, the actor stated that the Harry Potter series is one of those movies that he just can’t turn off when they are on TV. He calls them “comforting” and “beautiful”. He also stated that he was quite excited to be part of the trailer.

“It’s just such a beautiful and immersive world, that pays due respect to human emotions. I would be a liar if I said being in a trailer where that score kicks in didn’t get me excited. I’m 40 and I shouldn’t say such things”, said Colin.

‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ will be released on November 18. Directed by David Yates, the movie has been based on J.K. Rowling’s book by the same name.
