Ben Affleck to Play Batman in New Trilogy

Warner Bros. has reportedly signed Ben Affleck to play the caped crusader in multiple Batman films. Ace Showbiz has reported that according to Den of Geek, Ben was offered to play the role in a new Batman trilogy. The 42-year-old actor will be present in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

His performance as batman was quite appreciated by the studio’s bosses. The screening of the near finished cut of the film also received a positive feedback from the audience including the film’s crew. The viewers gave a standing ovation at the end.

Batman V Superman will hit the theatres on March 25 next year. It is directed by Zack Snyder who is known for his films Watchmen, Man of Steel, 300 and Sucker Punch. Ben Affleck will be taking over for Christian Bale who played the role of Batman in the Christopher Nolan trilogy including Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
