Ben Stiller to enact Nick DeNoia in ‘I Am Chippendales’

I Am Chippendales, a true-life story of evolution of a male dance stripper club is into the making by filmmaker Alan Ball and it is learnt that Ben Stiller will be a part of it. Stiller will be playing former choreographer and partner Nick DeNoia, who was the co-founder of the club and expanded it to a great level. The flick is based on Rodney Sheldon’s book.

The movie summaries the tale of a nightclub named Chippendales, originally owned by Paul Snider and Somen “Steve” Banerjee. The latter got accused of arson, racketeering and murder and was ultimately jailed. Later, he died in 1994 in his jail cell. Permut Presentations and Sentinel Pictures will be producing the venture along with the director Ball, Adam Brawer and David Permut. Other star cast is yet to be chosen.
