Billy Magnussen To Feature In 'Aladdin' Remake

Hollywood actor Billy Magnussen is all set to be seen in his upcoming venture 'Aladdin'. The actor will be portraying Prince Anders in the Disney's live-action flick. The movie is going to be directed by Guy Ritchie.

Apart from the actor, the film will also feature Mena Massoud as the street rat turned prince. Actress Naomi Scott, who was last seen in 'Power Rangers', will be playing the character of Princess Jasmine. Meanwhile, Marwan Kenzari will be seen playing the dark character of Jafar and actor Will Smith will step into the shoes of the popular character Genie.

However, it has come to light that the film will also adopt a new character which will be played by Billy Magnussen. The actor has experience playing a Disney Prince in a previous film. Magnussen has also been a part of Rob Marshall's 'Into the Woods' earlier. The film is said to be bankrolled by Dan Lin under Lin Pictures banner.
