From Boxing Ring to Martial Arts arena, Mike Tyson shifts post

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has joined Donnie Yen in the cast of Pegasus Motion Pictures 3D kung-fu biopic ‘IP Man 3,’ which will also include a CGI Bruce Lee. The cast also includes Lynn Hung, Max Zhang, Patrick Tam, Louise Cheung, Karena Ng and Song Wen Bing.

The story of ‘Ip Man 3’ follows a Chinese martial artist who lived from 1893 to 1972. The man popularized the fighting style of Wing Chun, a technique that specializes in close-range combat. His most famous pupil was Bruce Lee, who would later go onto develop his own discipline called Jeet Kune Do. Directed by Wilson Yip from a script by Edmond Wong, the project is produced by Pegasus chief Raymond Wong and executive produced by Shi Jian Xiang. IP Man 3 comes to theaters in 2015.
