Captain America Movies Can Exist Without Steve Rogers

The actors who have played superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are now known by their character’s name. It would be hard for the fans to imagine a new face playing their favourite superhero. However, there are chances that they might get to see a new Captain America in the future instalments of the franchise.

Recently, Marvel President Kevin Feige was asked whether a Captain America movie actually has to star Steve Rogers? He replied, “It’s a good question and if we look back at the comic books as our inspiration and as the well from which this all springs, then the answer is no”. However, he quickly added that as of now he has no plans of making such change to the MCU.

During the interview, Feige said that he has read Captain America comics that don’t have Steve Rogers in them. Also, those who have read the comics know that the patriotic supersoldier isn’t always played by Steve Rogers. If the changes do occur someday, then we can expect Bucky Barnes or Sam Wilson to take over the shield from someday.
