Charlize Theron Would Love To Do A Mad Max Prequel

The 2015 Tom Hardy starrer ‘Mad Max’ brought the character of Imperator Furiosa which was played by Charlize Theron. Her performance was loved by fans worldwide and ever since then, they have wanted more. Now, in a recent interview with Variety, Charlize revealed that more Mad Max films might be in the pipeline.

When asked if she would want to reprise her role as Furiosa in a prequel film, the Young Adult actress said, “I’d love to. There were three scripts. They were written as back stories to Max’s character and to Furiosa’s character. But at the end of the day, this thing lives and breathes with [director] George [Miller]. I think Warner Bros. knows that. We are all waiting for him to show us the way”.

Charlize was last seen in Fate of the Furious and will soon be seen on the big screen in ‘Atomic Blonde’. The flick will hit theatres on July 28. Directed by David Leitch, ‘Atomic Blonde’ stars Sofia Boutella, James McAvoy, Bill Skarsgård and John Goodman, along with Charlize.
