Cheryl Cole to play guest part in 'Modern Family'?

The latest buzz is that pop star Cheryl Cole has beeninvited to play a guest role in popular US sitcom Modern Family. According to aContactmusic.com report, the Girls Aloud singer, who got divorced from her soccerplayer husband Ashley Cole in 2010, was approached by the producers of the TV showfor the part. "They really want to get Cheryl involved. And it's a coveted slot. Everyonefrom Britney Spears to Lady Gaga have made it known that they would love to appearin it. It's a real honour to be asked to do it," a source said. "Cheryl is beginning a newchapter in her life so she doesn't want to be associated with negative stuff from the past,"the source added.
