Chris Tucker's Stand-Up Comedy Special Premiering on Netflix

Known for his role as detective James Carter in the Rush Hour franchise, Chris Tucker will be getting his first full length stand-up comedy special. It will premier exclusively on Netflix on July 10. The show is titled Chris Tucker Live and will be available in all areas with Netflix subscriptions.

Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said, “Chris Tucker is a true global movie star and a one-of-a-kind talent whose remarkable energy, delivery and original style make him one of the funniest comedians of our time. We cannot wait to share his distinct and hilarious voice with our members across the globe”. Chris’s own company, ‘Chris Tucker Entertainment’ will be producing the show and Phil Joanou will be directing it.

It's always been a part of me, and now I'm excited to share it with my fans around the world”, Chris said. He is also known for movies like ‘Money Talks’, ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ and ‘Friday’, among others.
