‘Christ the Lord’ to release on Easter 2016

Focus Features venture “Christ the Lord” is scheduled to be released on March 23, 2016, just prior to Easter Sunday.

Sketched from Anne Rice’s novel “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt”, the film is depicted as a narrative adaptation of the tale of young Jesus, who starts to discover the reality about his existence.

Focus Features person in command Peter Schlessel obtained U.S. rights to “Christ the Lord” when he was managing FilmDistrict. When Schlessel joined Focus, the company in turn got hold of sharing the rights. Echo Lake Entertainment, in alliance with Ingenious Media, is helping to finance “Christ the Lord”.
