Christopher Nolan Felt Shocked When People Failed To Spot Michael Caine In ‘Dunkirk'

Director Christopher Nolan has collaborated with Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy and Michael Caine in the past. He is one of the directors who is always ready to work with people with whom he has collaborated in the past. Sources have revealed that the director had also cast Michael Caine in the recently released 'Dunkirk'.

However, people could not spot the actor. After people failed to point out Michael, the director himself confirmed about his presence. Michael Caine appeared in a cameo in 'Dunkirk'. Christopher stated that he was ‘shocked’ when people were not able to notice him.

According to sources, the 46-year-old said, "It's shocking to me that a lot of people haven't [noticed him], when he has really one of the most distinctive voices in cinema." He added, "I wanted very much to squeeze him in here. It's a bit of a nod to his character in Battle of Britain. And also, it's Michael. He has to be in all my films, after all." Michael Caine has worked in seven movies which were directed by Christopher Nolan.
