Dallas Buyers Club to mark its Indian release at February-end

Dallas Buyers Club, starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Jared Leto in the lead, has won millions of hearts worldwide and has been honoured with Screen Actors Guild Award, Golden Globe Award wins and six Academy Award nominations, so far. Now the Indian audience will be lucky to watch this biographical drama film, based on the true-life story of AIDS patient Ron Woodroof, in the theatres from February 28.

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, Dallas Buyers Club has been acclaimed critically across the globe and till February 2 the film has grossed $22.59 million in North America. The film will be distributed by PVR Pictures and PictureWorks in India. Avinaash Jumani, Film Acquisitions, PictureWorks, said in a statement, "Dallas Buyers Club is a film that`s made once in a decade. A film that with brutal honesty explores various provocative conditions in an intriguing manner; while being based on a terminally ill man and dealing with serious issues like AIDS, Homophobia and Transexuality of the 1980`s America.”
