Daniel Radcliffe Opened Up About Johnny Depp's Casting In Fantastic Beasts 2

Daniel Radcliffe, who is famous for Harry Potter has finally opened up about the controversy surrounding Johnny Depp’s continued casting in Fantastic Beasts. Johnny plays the main antagonist Grindelwald in the film, who has been accused of domestic violence by his former wife Amber Heard .

Daniel Radcliffe said, “He understands the reason for the fans' frustration over the actor's association with the film franchise”. He further revealed that Depp's actions is being tolerated because he is a popular figure in the industry, also adding that he is grateful to the team for giving him a great start to his career.

The 28-year-old actor said this after JK Rowling shared her response to a fan on the social media platform, who had questioned the presence of Depp in the film. Further, it has also been learned that Rowling and the directors are happy to have Depp onboard the film. She further said that she along with David Yates might likely recast the role for 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindlewald.
