Dave Franco to feature in Sony’s The Intern's Handbook

A film based on a book by Shane Kuhn, The Intern's Handbook: A Thriller, is into the making and it is reported that Neighbors’s star Dave Franco is finalised to play the lead role. The movie will be developed and distributed by Sony as the company has acquired the rights of the same.

The film revolves around a guy named John Lago, who is an intern at a prestigious Manhattan law firm and is also the inventor of a secret placement agency HR Inc. Lago cheats high-profile corporate executives and makes money from them. His life takes a turn when he encounters an FBI agent who is assigned for the same project. Neal Moritz and Ori Marmur of Original Film and Brad Mendelsohn and David Alpert ofCircle of Confusion will produce the venture. Shane Kuhn will write the script and will finance the project as an executive producer. The director of the movie is yet to decide.
