Demi Lovato To Release Her New Documentary, ‘Beyond Silence’
Updated : February 23, 2017 06:46 PM ISTMaking it big at an age of 16, Demi Lovato has come a long way. The teen star began her journey by finding herself playing the lead role in Disney Channel’s hit original movie, Camp Rock and releasing superhit album Don’t Forget. However, the star had to struggle from other internal challenges, such as bipolar depression.
Now, the Neon Lights singer has produced a documentary, ‘Beyond Silence’, which gives the insight on the struggle people face with mental disorders. Specifically, it’s about Jeff Fink, Lauren Burke, and Lloyd Hale, experiencing bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety.
Lovato said, “You can hear in the documentary how different they are, but also how alike they are. It’s important that we get that message out there because mental health is so important — it’s just important as physical health”. On the movie front, she would be giving her voice for upcoming flicks, Charming and Smurfs: The Lost Village.
