Eighth Harry Potter Book In The Making

It was recently revealed that J.K. Rowling was writing a play for the sequel of the epic seven part Harry Potter series which will debut in London at the Palace Theatre on July 30. Now, the author has announced that the script for the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be released as a two part book. Harry Potter novel fans can now get even more excited!

The book will be released the next day, on July 31. The chief executive officer of J.K. Rowling’s online home base Pottermore, Susan L. Jurevics, posted on the site, “Pottermore is proud to be a key part of the multi-platform effort that will allow the epic eighth Harry Potter story to be read and enjoyed by a wider, global audience”. A twitter post also showed off the “Not Final” cover for the book.

The play was written by Rowling with the help of Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. The trio wrote the original new story and Thorne wrote the script for the play. The play and the book will be based 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
